Perry County Judge Injured Friday At Perry County Restaurant
Perry County District Judge Leigh Anne Stephens was injured Friday afternoon during an attack at the Circle T Restaurant at Airport Gardens in Perry County.  Stephens was seated in a booth at the business when she was attacked by a man around 1:20 PM.  The Perry County Sheriff's Office arrived at the scene on the Combs Road and arrested the suspect, Ronnie D. Brock.  According to witnesses, Brock assaulted Stephens with a steak knife and a customer, Victor Gainer, went to the Judge's aid.  During the scuffle, Brock ended up going through a side glass window of the restaurant.  Judge Stephens was taken to the Hazard A.R.H. by the Perry County Sheriff's Office where she was treated and released.  Brock was lodged in the Kentucky River Regional Jail in Hazard on charges of attempted murder.
